Waymo, a driverless car

In 2009, Google joined intelligent intelligent driving, through its long-term dangerous projects division; then the division became an independent company, called Waymo. Over the years, the company has launched its own vehicles in open traffic, but always a per-player was in a hurry for security. But now, he has made a breakthrough, and it is announced that the test will begin to be on the seat without anyone.
In this first phase, the company's personnel will be the ones that go to the Chrysler Pacifica monobolum without a safety driver. The intention is soon to bring in volunteering passengers, who can apply for this free service through a mobile application, to go to work, to take children to school or to go home after a party.
The action area of these sessions is limited to some selected areas of Chandler, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix (United States). However, Waymok has planned to expand the area to the total metropolitan area of Phoenix.
"We want to make it a routine experience in Traveling with Way, so that the user can act on their daily needs," said John Krafcik, Executive Chairman of the company at Web Summit, in Portugal. "They are totally self-contained cars here," he assured.
Vehicles on the road
The Fiat Chrysler (FCA) automobile group reached an agreement with Google to manufacture a hundred units of the Pacifica model, all of which were specially adapted for use in the autonomous driving project. That's why they have the necessary sensors and software for this purpose.
Since 2009, Googlen's autonomous vehicles have traveled more than 3.5 million miles (5,632,704 km) from public roads in 20 North American cities. In his test circuit, he has carried out more than 20,000 specific tests to deal with different, strange and unusual situations. In addition to these real sessions, he has also done much more in virtual simulations.
Waymok tested its services with a group of families to find out what customers want in a transportation. After that, the company expanded its field of action by inviting the 4,5 million population of the metropolitan area to participate in these self-tests through its blog.
Vehicles will carry a human operator behind the steering wheel, if their participation is necessary or if they need re-use. Waymō's essay aims to find out about what people are asking about a self-employed person, how they use it, and how to integrate this service into their lives. Participants can use these cars every day at any time.
Thus, Silicon Valley is in favor of driving a self-driving technology, with this model that will transform the automotive industry, making it a gold mine for companies. All in all, Waymok has achieved one of the best technological results, apart from being an agreement with Fiat Chryler.
Many companies believe that users will look for self-employed as a service, not to own a car. Bestale, Uber is one of the other companies that have done self-employed sessions.
