VI. The Basque Industry 4.0 event was held

Of all the participants, some 3,800 industrial companies, technology centers and entrepreneurs took part in the Basque Industry 4.0-The Meeting Point conference held on November 20 and 21. During the meeting, about 100 experts from different countries gave the same talks, with 170 booths for agents, companies and startups.

Cybersecurity is one of the key issues to consider when applying digital technologies in the industry. Therefore, a conference aimed at sharing knowledge about Industry 4.0 should include network security as part of the program.
 

On the other hand, the meeting "Basque Industry 4.0-The Meeting Point" marked the sixth edition, and this year, it was possible to reflect on the key players of 4.0 Industry: public institutions, companies, clusters, technology centers and universities. In addition, the main conference on this topic focused on 4.0 Industry development for the benefit of society and its positive social impact.


Finally, Pavilion 2 of the BEC responded to requests from companies, technology centers and startups to expand the exhibition space in previous editions. In this regard, this year's exhibition area of ​​Basque Industry 4.0 attracted 170 booths, including technology centers of the Basque Research & Technology Alliance (BRTA), 4.0 assets of the Basque Digital Innovation Hub (BDIH), 4.0 Basque industry-leading companies, and BIND 4.0. These were public-private accelerator startups that would later be able to contact companies that would offer them contracts.

Basque Industry 4.0. The Meeting Point was an opportunity to share the knowledge and experiences of all public, private and business stakeholders in Industry 4.0.


This meeting focuses on ICT tools that optimize industrial processes, namely intelligent tools for integrated design, development, production, logistics and manufacturing management.


In this way, two days' experiences, trends, strategies, opinions, workshops, exhibitions, and expert views from these areas were explained, and a suitable site for networking was reached.


Among the 170 stands that gathered in the larger exhibition area, the technology centers belonging to the Basque Research & Technology Alliance (BRTA) consortium, the main Basque companies in Industry 4.0 and the start-ups of the BIND 4.0 program.
Apart from this, the Basque Industry 4.0 The Meeting Point event went a step further in its sixth edition and faced new challenges, namely those that set the industrial reality of recent years and those related to the security of the activity. Industrial Activity, 4.0 Industry, advanced industry and the digital and technological industry need to be developed in complete security and security, which is why the event is growing, in order to provide cybersecurity knowledge and experience.
