Uber is launching a helicopter service in New York

Uber, a vehicle rental company with drivers, has begun a trip to Manhattan and John F. Kennedy Airport in July in the helicopter. The price of the trip is between 200 and 225 dollars. However, Uberrek said that, depending on the request, the price could change.

The company launches the "Uber Copter" service through the Uber Elevate division. This division was created to provide service for shared air transport three years ago. Uber Copter also offers a car service within the helicopter service; from the customer's home to the heliport.

Uber believes that the benefits of this service are mainly two: the trip is reduced to 30 minutes, usually 2 hours and money saving.

This company also offers this type of service in Dubai. 12-minute flight for 142 dollars.

In Manhattan it is forbidden to place heliports on the roofs of homes, resulting in an accident in 1977. And a month ago a helicopter taxi was also fired against a building, and as a result, many politicians have questioned this kind of service. At the moment, Uber goes ahead.
