What characteristics should a good entrepreneur have?
There is no specific formula in these topics, and a lot of skills are available with practice. It is beneficial to have these characteristics: determination, ability and leadership to treat people, learning ability, business focus ...
Why do you think entrepreneurship has grown in Spain in recent years?
On the one hand, talking about entrepreneurship and increasing the number of entrepreneurs in our country is a natural one. It is obvious that organizing a business today is easier than it was 20 or 30 years ago. We face the Internet as a global network that accelerates commercialization and radically changes the way people's relationships are, how they buy, sell, learn ... This gives them plenty of opportunities to do what we do best. In my opinion, the rise in entrepreneurship is beneficial for any society, and in Spain we have always been the trend of public employment, which, although necessary, does not generate new products or even innovative services.
Do you think entrepreneurship is a key future for work in this country?
It will be and it's already happening worldwide. Anyone can buy some products in one corner of the world and sell to another. Anyone can make their knowledge available to others on the Internet and try to get money out. Anyone can learn about a particular sector, offer shortcomings and offer products or services that can be replaced.
What are the good and bad side of entrepreneurship?
Positive would be a greater freedom and control over your destiny, including a transverse study on a wide range of topics: how to get access to your customers from the technical products / services offered and how to get in touch with them, attracting talent to your project, team making, other compete with some companies, financial planning, investor relations with themselves ... and many others, aside from the company's march, enrich many entrepreneurs. And a different kind of affirmative: in the case of successful business, it can earn more money than anyone else. The brightest spots are: continuous risk of bankruptcy, uncertainty, personal erosion and probably financial, and "free time" or the disappearance of holiday ideas.
How did you decide to enter the world of organic products for agriculture and gardening?
While I was studying biology I noticed the great power of microorganisms to improve labor. Especially I paid attention to the microorganisms that inhabit the humus of worms and produce such positive results in plants (greater food collection, smell of fruits and better taste, greater resistance to pests and diseases ...).
What do you offer in our company Nostoc?
We have developed a series of products with microorganisms that come from humus from worms. Once planted, it contributes to the development of the plant in many parts, avoiding or reducing chemicals. The farmer is grateful because he saves money and his productions have a higher quality. It is very optimistic for the latest consumers, because they have fruits and vegetables without chemical waste.
What is the difference between Nostoc and other companies in the same sector?
Many parties differentiate us: first and foremost, our broad knowledge of worm bumblebee: how to produce a large scale on a high quality quality, what microorganisms we find, and what role they play on the ground or in the plant, etc. Compared with other sectors of the sector, we We do not sell isolated microorganisms, but we have demonstrated that the community is more effective.
What would you recommend to young entrepreneurs and / or embark on those thinking?
Read books. There were some who helped me at the beginning, "Screw it, lets do it," Richard Bransonena, or "The black book of the entrepreneur", Fernando Trías de Besena. I also read biographies of successful entrepreneurs. It always helps to see how they started and noticed that there is a specific way to succeed, but rather that it has a relationship with the adaptability, the survival and the opportunities that arise.
