The Auzolandegiak, or summer youth labor camps, still have some free seats
The Youth Directorate of the Basque Government still has some free seats in the "Auzolandegiak" or youth fields of summer work in Lemoa and Busturialdea. The offer is detailed on the website of Gazteaukera.
According to detailed Ander Añibarro, director of Youth of the Department of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government "the day 16 of July we start the auzolandegiak and we have some free places, especially in the fields of international Lemoa and Busturialdea. The fields are aimed at young people of 18 to 26 years, to request a plaza, have to call phones 945.019536 or 945.019501. All the information on each field is on the web site of Gazteaukera".
The free spaces that the auzolandegis still available after the dates and results of tests are: Maeztu-Montaña Alavesa 2; AgurainSalvatierra 4; Busturialdea I, Bizkaia 8; Lekeitio II, 1; Zamudio 7; Lemoa I, 13; Lemoa II, 7; Elgoibar 5; Tolosa 4; and Bergara 7.
"Any of them is recommended; Lemoa is a field super interesting as the work to be done is to retrieve trenches of the Civil War and are the technical people of Aranzadi who directed the work; all years found a lot of material of the Civil War. It is a real attraction for lovers of history and those who engage in or are going to do so, studies of history" details Añibarro.
"In the international fields of Lemoa and Busturialdea there are some free places because the participation of young foreigners in recent years is somewhat reduced so that our young people can take advantage of to order" adds the director of youth.
