Spain, ready for the fourth industrial revolution

Switching the gas bill recommends moving phones, glucose levels, or changing oil in the car. These scenarios are becoming increasingly common in Spain and are complementary to what is known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It's a new era, where technology has become an access tool to become a means of personalized solutions based on user needs.
This is one of the results of the Spanish Social Digital 2017 report published by the Telefónica Foundation (Sociedad Digital de España 2017). As stated therein, technology opens its doors to "cognitive society." This society generates and assesses the user's experiences, which, in turn, provides tailor made information and services, in this process, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IOT) paper They play a decisive role, which enables them to analyze experiences and provide personalized solutions in all areas, such as education, health or recreation.
In this way, Spain is preparing to jump into the Digital Society from the Knowledge Society, because it has a high-fiber network of third-country OECD countries. This implies the construction of a general version of the Spanish digital ecosystem with some of the sources of external sources, the statistical data of the Telefónica business units and the territorial information provided by the autonomous communities
Therefore, Spanish is already a digital society, thanks to its broadband access, in an unstoppable transformation, where today it is not only "challenged", but also "solution" at a technological level. The future, where robotics and artificial intelligence unite, will depend on the speed of adaptation to this new paradigm, as well as digitalization, as a basic tool to reach all areas, which are more sensitive to forgetting. In this way, networks and technologies are in almost every aspect of life.
Leading Spain
In 2017 Spain continued to be the leader in the expansion of optical fiber in the home, with more customers than Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy. Spain is currently a clear leader in the use of fiber in the home of the user's home (FTTH), a technology that can guarantee a sustainable high quality service at very low maintenance costs.
Spain also has a fiber optic fiber coverage of 3.5 G which almost includes all Spanish homes, while 4G coverage (LTE) reaches 94%. The report also highlights the need to adapt infrastructure to 5G deployment.
The Digital Society of Knowledge Society of Digital Society is also taking the form of the use of artificial intelligence and knowledge systems through the information provided by all the connected devices - the Internet of Guzman -, solutions of health, education, energy and transport problems. In this way, the country already exists in the Portal of the Fourth Industrial Disposal. The digital entrepreneurial action and public sector, as well as the avant-garde element of digital transformation, such as the 2.0 economy and the blockchain, are looking at this change in the social paradigm.
On the other hand, these transformations have meant that 50% of young people in 2018 have a mobile first, that is, they consume 90% or 100% of their time on the network, on a mobile screen. In fact, 86% have a smartphone as a reference for instant messaging as well as for social media access, such as music consumption and streaming videos.
These are some of the conclusions presented in the presentation of this report. This event, which was held on February 2, was also attended by the Secretary of State for Information and Digital Agenda, José María Lassalle Ruiz; César Alierta, President of the Telefónica Foundation; and José María Sanz-Magallón, general manager of Telefónica Foundation.
In addition, a round table was also held, where the different aspects of this digital transformation and the future challenges of our society were analyzed. There was the General Director of ESL Spanish, Manuel Moreno; Kolokium Blockchain Technologies Director, José Juan Mora; and the Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (CSIC), Ramón López de Mántaras.
With great connections
Despite the fact of continuing to promote the transformation of infrastructures, the report explains Spain as the most competitive European country in the telecommunications infrastructure, the digitization base and the development of the new data economy. In fact, the Internet of Things has already approached Spain in 2017 with smart concepts such as smart cities, Industria 4.0, self-employed, remote control surgery operations or digital distance education.
Spain is facing this development in Europe. Fast-moving fiber networks and 5G mobile networks can be considered as a basic infrastructure that will ensure a European economic fabric that is competitive worldwide. The European Commission establishes that in 2025 100% of schools, hospitals and large European companies will have access to 1 gbit / s, and all homes will have at least 100 mbit / s access, 1 gbit / s updates
In February, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Telefónica and Ericsson introduced the concept of driving distance of vehicles, using a 5G, in a position located in the Fira de Barcelona, a vehicle that was running at a distance from Tarragona, at a distance of more than 70 km.
For at least 100 Mbit / s of the schools, hospitals, large companies and homes of all households, up to 1 Gbit / s for the year 2025 is an economic effort of five hundred thousand million. This development brings a greater legal certainty to the Investor Relations Privacy Policy, which will be implemented from May this year, as well as the new Electronic Communications Code (ECC), which is currently taking place in the European Parliament.
Digital Social Exit The Knowledge Society will come up with the single European digital market. Operators must extend their telecommunication infrastructure to guarantee a connection over 1 gigaby to give the customer an excellent quality experience. To do this, architectures must be managed and adapted to platforms and systems so that their data is easily accessible to customers, while ensuring network certainty, data protection and their privacy
Likewise, it is also necessary to ensure that the Gigabit Society, so desirable, assures a common connection, banks with borders (E2E) and perfect wifi, with 1 gigabyte speed, reliable.
