Due to the high demand for technological profiles and the scarcity of such professionals, many national and international companies have started to raise salaries in order to attract talent in the technological field. “Average wages and job security are some of the most compelling reasons to educate some professionals in specialized technological knowledge, such as Big Data or Blockchain,” said IEBS, an online business school specializing in the training of technology professionals.
However, and even though most tech professions are gradually improving their salaries, not everyone is raising them in the same way. Therefore, the IEBS has sought to highlight the five technology professions that will increase their salaries the most by 2020. They will increase their salary by approximately 2.3%.

Strategic planning and management and data analytics marketing campaigns are some of these capabilities and as a result, they achieve high returns for companies such as customer loyalty and adoption, predictive algorithms to solve problems and ultimately increase sales. The business school estimates that the average salary for these professionals will be € 70,000 a year.
Presence of women
On the other hand, women are in the minority in medium and high-tech jobs, accounting for 26% of the total. There are just over a quarter of these jobs for women, according to the ‘Women and Innovation’ report.
However, in Spain, a woman appears as the first creator in 16.7% of patents. This figure is far from 9.1% of women in EU-28 countries.
