Navarre data
Employment in Navarre has increased, even though seasonality is common in October and the economic situation is uncertain. October closed with a new historical record of people working; that is, the Social Security affiliation was an average of 302,192 people. In the Nafar Lansare-Nafarroa Employment Service, 87 more people have been registered as unemployed, one of the lowest numbers registered in October.
On the other hand, Social Rights Counselor Carmen Maeztu considered the data published by the EPA (Active Population Survey) in October as positive, and stated that the Provincial Government wants to continue developing the Employment Plan and active policies to create "more jobs and higher quality employment".
The seasonality of employment is not recorded in the September numbers in Navarre. In fact, the historical figures of unlimited contracts were surpassed, 9,079; Social Security affiliation remained stable, with 43 more affiliations; and another 227 people were registered as unemployed.
As for the August data, it can be said that they were positive, because Navarre was the community where unemployment fell the most, and it continued to be on the way to record figures for unlimited hiring. The negative data was that affiliations declined, although most of them stemmed from the lingering incidence of the season (typical of August) and the current state of uncertainty.
Regarding affiliation, the monthly decrease was 895 fewer affiliations, -0.29%.
On the other hand, Navarre had 5,500 fewer unemployed between April and June, according to the Active Population Survey data released in July. The unemployment rate in the Regional Community fell to 8.76%, the third lowest in the State, with a total of 28,100 unemployed.
