Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Open Cloud Factory signed a collaboration agreement for scientific and technological research a year ago, for 5 years. In the second year of the agreement, the agents have decided to take another step and link the Industry 4.0 laboratory they use for their collaboration with the INCIBE network of industrial laboratories.
In Industry 4.0, both university students and researchers use the OpenNAC Enterprise modular software from the Open Cloud Factory for work, research, and solution development. It is a solution that allows access control to be accessed, as it allows full display of IT / OT / IoT / IioT assets and control of access and compliance. Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Open Cloud Factory have agreed to allow other companies outside the collaboration agreement to enter these facilities and carry out their tests and research there.
The laboratory covers an area of 112m2 and includes state-of-the-art technological equipment such as artificial vision, Collaborative Robot, 2 Industrial Robots, a modular production system and a mobile robot. All of this industrial systems infrastructure is also linked to a Data Processing Center, which has Network Electronic equipment, as well as data storage and processing equipment and sites and pipes set up and networks in accordance with IEC-62443 ‘Security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems’ standards also a cybersecurity equipment that allows segmentation.
