Three Mondragon University Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation (LEINN) undergraduate teams have achieved the first three positions in the university's Global Student Entrepreneur Awards 2019 (GSEA) national final. The Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation Network (LEINN) Entrepreneurship Team are the three winners.
The winner of this year's KUVU project has been replaced by one of the project's creators, Eduardo Fierro from Canary. KUVU is an online and offline platform for sharing accommodation. It connects young people, on the one hand, and elderly people who want to be at home, on the other. It is a technological project, scalable and of great social impact. The first prize, besides the check for 1,500 euros, laughs at the possibility of defending Spain in the GSEA general final, which will be held in Macaon (China) on April 14, and the young Canary will be paid at all costs to compete with finalists from more than 50 countries on five continents. Eduardo is a member of the Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation Working Groups at Mondragon University.
The second prize was awarded by Anmama Catering. Ana Castillo, one of the founders, has been replaced. It is a project based on the criteria of balanced and sustainable nutrition. Ana's team is one of the teams of Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation in Madrid (Teamlabs).
Third place was awarded by O-Lay, represented by Adrian González from Madrid. O-Lay is in the process of approving the first fully customizable electric motor. The Madrid-based LEINN graduate travels internationally and includes members from China, Egypt, Costa Rica, Armenia and Spain. It is therefore a great example of the international cooperation brought about by globalization.
LEINN
The LEINN degree offered by Mondragon University since 2009 is the only international degree in knowledge of entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. The LEINN formula has been a great success, spreading the degree worldwide, through 10 innovation laboratories - LEINN develops in 8 of them.
Currently, 750 people are studying LEINN in eight cities. Specifically, LEINN is delivered in Irun, Bilbao, Oñati, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Querétaro (Mexico) and Shanghai (China).
