MONDRAGON, with startups

MONDRAGON, through its Promotion Fund, has carried out two investment operations in two startups. The corporation thus seeks to activate its entrepreneurial and promotional skills, and is committed to young companies with the potential to grow.

Sabbatic
Sabbatik is a young company. He specializes in the digitization of business expense management. Both MONDRAGON Corporation and LKS Next have invested in it. In particular, the advanced professional services company LKS Next and MONDRAGON, through its Promotion Fund, have recognized the advanced technology developed by Sabbatic, in which they have decided to participate as partners. Sabbatic is a Basque company with many opportunities to grow.

Sabbatic offers a global solution for the digitization of invoices and tickets received in an easy way, both in mobility and in the office.

LKS Next This operation represents an opportunity to complement the solutions it offers. LKS Next provides solutions in financial processes and management through its Financial Solutions & Corporate unit.

Witrac
For its part, Witrac is a young Valencian company that specializes in wireless technologies and positioning. It has a small, empowered and committed work team and provides solutions at the national level in the areas of communication, traceability and wireless positioning.

In the field of Industry 4.0, it provides services in industrial and logistics work, thanks to location, monitoring and control in real time, and wirelessly in any component (assets, materials and people), both indoor and outdoor.
Although a very young company, Witrac has worked with companies such as Aernnova, Arcelor Mital, Porcelanosa and Ford Motor Company and plans to open a branch in the Basque Country in 2020. Also, one of its main challenges is the expansion of the business to European and American markets. It has already created 50 jobs and its prospects are to double its workforce in this early 2020 year.

MONDRAGON, promotion model
In terms of promotion, the aim of the MONDRAGON Corporation is to promote and revitalize an open and collaborative ecosystem for entrepreneurship. To encourage new business through a strategy of higher value-added growth and achievement.
Priority areas of interest will, in themselves, be those that have an impact on the affected industrial environment from a broad perspective. In this way, work will be carried out to bring together projects related to advanced manufacturing, health, ecology, new materials and advances in the digital revolution.

In this way, the MONDRAGON Promotion Center is a private corporate platform specializing in the promotion of new business activities, which promotes and supports promotion in cooperatives.
Formed by a team of developers, he leads and manages the start-up of new business projects. It also provides support tasks, contrasting work on technology and the market, and market perspectives. It also models the value proposition and makes proposals for financing and forming the company, always combining existing capabilities and supporting cooperation between cooperatives and third parties.
