The company behind the Formula 1 team has made its debut in electric scooters, with a vehicle that captures the essence of its single seater. A light and fast scooter with a design that will definitely not go unnoticed.

Electric scooters have become the preferred vehicle for the mobility of citizens in many cities. They are lighter, cleaner and cheaper to maintain than traditional vehicles, and why not, sometimes even more fun than them. And especially if we're talking about a scooter inspired by one of the most legendary Formula 1 teams of all time, which is always a good claim. This time, we will talk about the new McLaren 1 Series that has just been presented, and in addition to its innovative and light design, it also has features that will delight its followers.

A high championship scooter

This is how we could define these new models that have just been released, with the LAVOIE brand, which is responsible for manufacturing these scooters within McLaren. They have some amazing features. Because it is very light weight, only 16.5 kilos, which is very light thanks to the magnesium it is made of. So here we have one of those features that already sets the competition vehicles apart. It's unique folding system allows you to reduce its size in the blink of an eye and with minimal effort.

It is an electric scooter with a range of 50 km, which is not bad enough to enjoy traveling around the city for several days. As usual, the speed is limited by law to 25 km/h. The battery can be charged in two hours, and as we have seen in other models, it can be charged thanks to the braking of the KERS system. In addition, it uses discs that greatly improve this aspect of driving. Elsewhere, the look of this scooter is very competitive and has the most striking, and above all effective, LED lighting.

As it could not be otherwise, it has wireless connectivity, which allows us to connect the scooter to our mobile, so we can control every detail of it and know the battery levels and driving settings at a glance. A scooter with a relatively wide platform to be able to move comfortably on it, and with a handlebar that is not too envious, for example, that of a motorcycle, which is quite wide and has a very similar touch, at the same time. It gives a rather sporty touch.

At the moment, only this new scooter has been announced, and we don't know anything else about its price, although we have to stay tuned for the coming days and weeks to know all the details about its availability.
