On 23 September, the Governing Council of the University of the Basque Country approved a call for applications for grants to hold a master's degree in the 2021-2022 academic year at a meeting held at the Bizkaia Aretoa.

The deadline for applications was October 11th. Currently, the UPV / EHU has around 3,900 students in official master's degrees.

Own degrees include: own masters (60 credits or more); university specialization (30-59 credits); a university expert degree (15-29 credits) and a university extension diploma (30-60 credits, and students do not necessarily have a university degree).
