In 2021-2027, Europe will invest money in digital technology to make a difference with other countries and deliver benefits for businesses and the population. For this reason, the Commission has released a questionnaire for feedback on the direction of the first two years.
What are your thoughts on digital transformation? What do you think Europe's attitude should be? How can we ensure that businesses, the population and the public sector benefit from digital technology? The commission is currently preparing a Digital Europe program through which it will make a direct investment of $ 9.2 billion.
The money will be used to improve the following areas:
● Supercomputing
● Artificial intelligence
● Cybersecurity
● High digital skills
● To ensure the use of these digital technologies
The objective is precise: it will enhance European competitiveness in the global digital economy and increase technological autonomy through capacity development, testing of digital technologies and their implementation.
Europe will consult small and large companies, public administration, research and education institutions, NGOs, citizen organizations and private citizens in general for their opinion. Reviews are available until October 25th, here.
A milestone in this process of participation will be the Digital Excellence Forum, which will be held in Helsinki from 19 to 20 September 2019.
Questions and comments can be answered from July 25 to October 25.
