Green Entrepreneurial Schools, loratzen

The Green Entrepreneurial Schools initiative, a circular economy project created by the San José de Calasanz school, was launched last school year. The origin of this idea was to focus all the strength of education on the entrepreneurial skills of the last ten years, towards ‘sustainable entrepreneurship’. The motto of the project is ‘Be Greener and save the Planet’ and the students of San José de Calasanz Vocational Training School have devoted all their entrepreneurial energy to environmentally sustainable business projects.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that the San José de Calasanz Vocational Training School, located in Santurtzi (Bizkaia), has Tknika's recognition of its commitment to the Circular Economy.
The slogan 'Educating for a more sustainable world' was the slogan of the conference, which was attended by Santurtzi City Council, Tknika, Ihobe, Ayuda en Acción, Lauro Ikastola, Fridays For Future and other green projects. Tknika then invited them to take part in its Circular Economy project, which he promotes through hospitality schools. Students from San José de Calasanz take an active part in marketing and communication tasks such as photography or audiovisual reporting on the events held at these centers, which will be published later on Tknika's ambitious platform to disseminate the project coordinated by Mª José Barriola.

Calasanz finalist

The ‘Green Entrepreneurial Schools’ project has been a finalist in Ecovidrio’s ambitious initiative, which aims to raise awareness about the need for recycling in order to help fight climate change. There were many individual initiatives presented by ‘Greener’ from Calasanz.

The ‘Rio Brand’ project won first prize. Its promoter was Denis Ortega, a high school student in Marketing. He has already started his project, has a partner in London and has secured funding of almost 3,000 euros during this academic year. His next challenges are to get a Provider (Tknika) opportunity, to win the DEMA Learning Company and to create his own Business Steps.

Bilbao Ecodesign Meeting 2020

The Bilbao Ecodesign Meeting 2020 was held at the Euskalduna Palace from 26 to 28 February. His slogan was ‘Be Greener and Save the Planet’. There, they shared the path taken by the students of San José de Calasanz Marketing, the good results achieved and the subsequent challenges to be faced. They also talked about other successful projects such as ‘Planeta Azul’, ‘Bolsas Ecológicos Hera’, ‘Forocultivo’, ‘Maderas Mima’, ‘Ecoticket’, ‘Ur vizirik’, ‘Rio Brand’, ‘4Pets ',' Botellas Athenea '… many of whom were victorious in their calls for entrepreneurial education. In this way, they showed that sustainable entrepreneurship is possible in vocational training in the Basque Country, as well as attractive to students.

The students of the Marketing and Advertising Cycle attended the 'Basque Ecodesign Meeting', organized by IHOBE at the Euskalduna Palace, to present the 'Green Entrepreneurial Schools' project in the Circular Economy of San José de Calasanz and to share knowledge with other young people and companies. through a whole, for example ‘Lego Serious Play Workshop’.

Participation in this event shows that the Santurtzi project is strong and has aroused a lot of interest in making the leap to the international stage, where it is currently participating in two KA2 Erasmus + projects, with Portugal, the United Kingdom, Finland and Estonia, among others. , in the areas of green entrepreneurship and effective work methodologies, to raise awareness in society and students in this matter. Today this challenge has become a challenge and a necessity.
