Fortnite Survival and the Open World is a video game of the whole world. Developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly and marketed on July 25, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, MacOS, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. In 2018 it was announced that it will become a free video game or free-to-play.

Fortnite was announced for the first time at Skype Video Game Awards, in 2011, by a progressive Cliff Bleszinsky Broadcasting Designer at Epic Games.
