Then, at 9:00 in the morning, the Basque and Chinese groups visited the headquarters of the Eusko Alderdi Jeltzalea, where Mikel Burzako was their leader. There, the head of the Euzkadi Buru Assembly for International Relations presented the PNV/EAJ party to the guests. Burzako told them that the Eusko Alderdi Jeltzalea is a pro-European party, has good relations with the Chinese Communist Party and is in a good moment in terms of youth affiliation.
On the other hand, he told them that digitization is key for a country, that EAJ has looked a lot at Europe in recent years, and that it should look more at Asia. This interview lasted approximately 60 minutes.
- At 11:00, a visit was made to SPRI, in Bilbao, with EAJ/Jorge Fernández's team. This interview also lasted 60 minutes. There, Fernández explained to the visitors the fiscal advantages of locating the headquarters of a Chinese company located in Madrid in the Basque Country, among other things.
