Business and education

Spainskills provides an adequate platform to demonstrate the excellence of professional training in a variety of fields, such as cultural, economic, technological and scientific. This platform acts as a showcase and promotes continuous innovation in professional training, which must be developed in parallel with the business network. Therefore, in this way, it is an intersection of government institutions, sponsoring companies and educational institutions.

The competition allows the education of the professionals that companies need, thus creating a mutual and social benefit. In fact, tournaments of this type are aimed at fostering the skills that make up a valuable dissemination tool in professional training, providing a form of growth for students, teachers and companies. They are also a place of exchange and discussion on the development of professional standards, quality and innovation in different producing sectors. All skills competitions are organized by non-profit organizations and their main activity is to organize two-year professional training tournaments, with the challenge of disseminating information and sharing knowledge about the development of professional skills, promoting quality, innovation and the cultural exchange between competitors and experts from all over the world. .

The tournament is held every two years and serves to select the competitors that will represent Spain, who will compete in the European (EuroSkills) and World Championships (WorldSkills), respectively, in the double and odd years.

Navarra participates in this tournament since 2007. Then it was in 3 modes and every year more disciplines have been added every year, reaching 10 today.
