Convergence, Blockchain Conference, Malaga

From 11 to 13 November, a general conference on the Convergence Blockchain was held in the city of Malaga. Experts from all over the world participated in the call. They were there, including regulators, private banks, organizations, industry influencers, corporate representatives, researchers and companies from various sectors. These were on the agenda of congressional talks, roundtables and meetings. Hundreds of experts met in Convergence, which attracted 1,500 attendees from around the world.

Notable guests include representatives from the Bank of Japan, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, the European Central Bank and the OECD. In addition, the Bank of Lithuania, the Bank of Spain and the Central Bank of Brazil were also present. Particularly noteworthy is the presence of Roberto Viola, Director General of the Communications, Content and Technology Network of the European Commission.

Companies

The Global Convergence Blockchain Conference was also present at large companies. They included Telefonica, Repsol, Everis / NTT, ConsenSys, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, IBM, uPort, IOTA, Ledger, IPwe and Degun Digital Group. All of them could also be found at the Kunfud or Blockchain Intelligence Institute, or Stefan Junestrand, Jesús Ruiz or Luz Parrondo, who are experts in micro-SMEs. As can be seen, this initiative brought together renowned companies and individuals from around the world, a blockchain technology that has significant financial implications, as well as legislative and business implications, which will impact all sectors and will revolutionize.

 

Associations and organizations

Highlights include the French Digital Assets Association, World Trade Organization, Blockchain for Social Impact Coalition, Bounties Network, Grassroots Economis, United Nations Climate Change Convention, World Food Program and BitHub Africa. The Governments also included a number of bodies, such as the Indian Blockchain Standards Commission and the Government of Tamil Nadu (India).
The Spanish Data Protection Agency, the European Commission for Data Protection, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (French Financial Market Authority) and the Japanese Financial Services Authority (Japanese Financial Services Authority) were added as regulators. In this respect, Spanish and foreign universities and academic institutions from around the world and academic institutions from around the world cannot be forgotten.

Convergence

The convergence event is organized by Alastria, the European Commission, the European Union Blockchain Observatory Forums and INATBA. The first day's theme was the Global Blockchain Challenge, with 17 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals. The competition lasted 10 hours and the winners won the StartUp Europe - World Blockchain Awards, which were decided by members of the European Parliament, heads of industry and international institutions.
