Concept: Toyota's bet for the future
Concept, a new Toyota prototype, is a target statement on the new vision of future vehicles. From an interior-based design, it seeks a more "human" relationship with technology and provides a warm experience for drivers and friends.
In the future cars will become increasingly autonomous and will need a smaller interaction in their work. In Toyota, they do not want to lose this connection with them and this is why they have presented Concept. This model indicates master lines, looking at the future of the relationship between the vehicle and the owner.
Fast automatic
Concept has been designed by Toyota's CALTY Desing Research studio in Newport Beach, California. The Toyota Innovation Hub of San Francisco has also helped with the development of user experience technology. The philosophy based on its design has been baptized as 'kinetic warmth' and indicates that mobility technology must be pleasant, comfortable and, in particular, fun. Concept utilizes an advanced artificial intelligence system that predicts the needs of people, which stimulates their imagination and, in short, improves their lives.
Vehicle and driver, more than ever
The concept is a powerful artificial intelligence system that is guided by driver and builds a relationship with it in this way. Thanks to the use of a wide variety of technologies, it measures the emotions of its owner according to the different moments of the day or the places it travels.
Another extraordinary sleeve is to put artificial intelligence at the service of security. Through the visualization and touch notes, the concept helps the driver's ability to respond. Although it offers the possibility of a self-guided driving license, it supervises the driver's attention and the state of the road continuously. The goals are two: strengthening and supporting driver participation in dangerous traffic conditions
Looking for a "human" technology
The alias of the 'Yui' interface is used as a support for the artificial intelligence of this vehicle. Thanks to its lightweight and bold design, 'Yui' is able to communicate important messages through touch, light or sound. In fact, in exchange for the use of screens in the dashboard, information is provided where necessary.
For example, the lighting indicates that the car is automatically or manually on the side of the foot; Some projectors located on the back tray communicate the presence of undefeated angels, and a new head-up screen generation helps keep the driver's attention on the road.
For now, Concept is just a prototype. A type of map of the path that Toyota wants to make in the future. Improving the relationship between the driver / driver relationship and the improvement of security are the two key lines of the Concept mark, but they are not from scratch: there is a hybrid range that can be found and verified.
