On December 19, the Bizkaia Science and Technology Park will host the celebration of the 10th anniversary of BIC Bizkaia, the incubator specialising in bio-micro-nano technologies, advanced manufacturing and clean technologies promoted by the Basque Government and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and managed by Beaz.

Designed for startups, established companies and entrepreneurs, over these ten years BIC Bizkaia has been the scene of the conception and maturation of 65 business projects. Projects that have made the centre a reference for the incubation of new companies with a high degree of innovation and research.

The building, located in the park itself, has 6,000 m2 of facilities - clean rooms, laboratories with technological equipment, prototyping workshops - as well as various common spaces. It offers support services for the creation and consolidation of new innovative business projects. It is a regular venue for thematic talks, company presentations and training and networking events and is regularly visited by delegations from the rest of the state and internationally.

The commemorative event for the tenth anniversary will serve to take stock of the progress made. Mikel Jauregi, Minister of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government; Ainara Basurko, Provincial Deputy for Economic Promotion; and the companies BatterieIngenieure South Europe, The Art of Discovery, Ultrasound-Inovation Medtech and Zenialabs will participate in it.
