Eloi Gómez, Adrián Lorenzo and Rubén Muñoz, from the University of Salamanca, went to Balencia almost without anything three years ago. Since Mr. Jeff's company was founded, its startup continues to grow. Currently 220 people work in the company and 1,200 franchises have been sold, creating 2,500 non-direct jobs. There are many opportunities for growth and, when the end of the year, they think they will have 3,000 stores in Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. And everything is cleared and ironed.
Mr. Jeff was created as an application in 2015. Through the mobile application, users (without leaving your home) could clean and iron clothes. Over time, the project has changed and today there are thousands of franchises in different countries. In this way, the application is becoming more efficient and, while the credibility of the brand increases, their rates can become more competitive prices.
Technology has the ability to work online and offline. In the words of Eloi, all the members are ordinary people, but they all have great intentions to create new projects. Since being known in the San Isidoro Higher School, ideas have been developed and companies have been created: they started making sweatshirts in the university and became very famous. They were so famous that they sold the company for 10 months. At 22 they created The Food Point, an export and import channel for agricultural foodstuffs. Once again, he got his reputation and sold it for 15 months.
When they finished the university they felt in a serious situation: "We have sold the companies but we do not have a specific way of doing things." At first they thought about what they should do with food, but they met in Madrid, Enrique Penichet, and worked with Fernando Becerra to find the idea of laundry.
Eloi Gómez believes that a good business needs three things: One: it is not necessary to create a new product like the wheel. Two: choose products or services with good margins. Three: we must be different and lucky.
Over the course of days and months, many things have been learned and many have traveled to the United States, China and South America. He also knows how to get to know his business, which is why each member worked in different jobs in the past few months.
Another important thing to consider is the study of how Eloi believes that a large company is selling a large business enterprise, and exploring other industry know-how.
In 2018 Lava e Leva bought the Brazilian laundry chain, obtaining 350 places in Brazil. With this, South American expansion was consolidated. This year, they also think about doing such an operation.
At Pixel Tech you can read more about Eloi and its partners; what kind of books he reads, how to organize his daily work or the most famous of his people.
