The Talent Residencies Program for young people in Donostia is underway (I)

Here is the Talent Residencies Program created for the youth of Donostia. The purpose of this pilot program is to offer accommodation options to the young talent of Donostia, while they develop their professional careers.

This opportunity will be offered to young people from Donostia who are working on an innovative entrepreneurial project and also to those who, having been hired, are developing a project in an innovative company in Donostia.

In both cases, the professional development program is aimed at people from Donostia under the age of 35 who are taking part in one of the following programs of Donostia Promotion.

In this way, they want to help young people from Donostia who are developing professionally in Donostia between 6 months and 2 years in the problem of accessing accommodation.

To carry out this pilot program, Donostia Promotion, from October 3, 2022, will use 7 spaces in the Talent House building located at 42 Duque de Baena promenade, 20.009 (Aiete district).

Beneficiary requirements

To participate in this program, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Being natural persons.
  2. Be under the age of 35 at the time of application.
  3. Having a connection with Donostia: the connection is one of the following three options:
    • Being born in Donostia.
    • Being registered in Donostia for at least the last 15 years on the date of application.
    • To have obtained an official qualification in one of the faculties or university schools located in Donostia, and to have been registered in Donostia for at least the last 10 years.
  4. Request to participate through a motivational letter.
  5. To be up to date with all tax obligations established by the provisions in force and to have no debt with the City of Donostia and/or Donostia Promotion.

They must also meet the following conditions:

A) In the case of young people from Donostia who have an entrepreneurial project that will add added value, that is innovative, multi-sector and viable, those who meet the following conditions can take part:

  • Ekin+ and Ekin+ salud accepted in the 2021 and 2022 calls.
  • Accepted in other innovative entrepreneurship programs of Donostia Promotion.
  • If priority should be given to someone, income will be taken into account.

B) In the case of young people from Donostia hired to work by local organizations that carry out innovation and/or research projects, within the framework of Promotion programs, the following may participate:

  • Those hired through the following calls for promotion.
  • 2022 Women Researchers Program.
  • SSConnecting Talent 2022 Program.
  • 2022 Innovative Talent Program.
  • 2022 Local Talent Return Program.

If preference is to be given to one, gross annual salary and date of hire will be taken into account.
