To find out which professions and profiles are most in demand for 2022, Infojobs, LinkedIn and Adecco are all there, and they all agree that the IT and healthcare sectors will be among the most in demand professionals in 2022. But not the only ones.
We know from the pandemic that there are many segments that are essential for the future and others that have emerged from professions that did not exist in the past as a result of the crisis. What are the profiles that will be successful during 2022?
Antonio López believes that the number of all health-related professions, including nurses and doctors, in the care of people who need additional care, will increase in number.
Managers have also included computer profiles among the most sought-after professionals. "They can give us the tools we need to keep up with the trend that started with the crisis: we are all much more connected to technology."
It also highlights the emergence of profiles in e-commerce. "Internet shopping has risen, which means more distributors are needed, more logistics profiles, order pickers, forklifts ... Zero unemployment jobs will be available in the near future."
Finally, the importance of professionals in the environment and food sectors is recalled. "Empty Spain will need people for the agricultural sector. And the food sector, as we behave in terms of consumption, will need more food chains with profiles similar to those mentioned in the logistics sector: line managers and shippers; and many logistics warehouse workers."
In the same vein, Ángel Sáenz de Cenzano, CEO of LinkedIn Spain and Portugal, believes that "this unprecedented situation - a pandemic - has undoubtedly led to a change in the careers of many professionals, but it has also created a wave of new opportunities." Therefore, the manager argues that new jobs in e-commerce, education, healthcare, customer service and technology are “highly in demand”.
For their part, Infojobs also emphasizes that the IT and telecommunications, education and training and trade and sales sectors are not unemployed. "The profile of software developers stands out in the context of the digital transformation of companies. As companies incorporate digitalization into their business models, new jobs in information and telecommunications, such as big data specialists, virtual reality application developers or cyber lawyers, are likely to emerge."
The real estate sector and consequently the profile of real estate agents will be in high demand in 2022, according to LinkedIn and Infojobs. Why?

Although commercial real estate has experienced a great deal of uncertainty as a result of business closures, housing has grown by 49% in 2020 compared to the previous year, as many people are working as self-employed.
