We are now presenting a new call for grants for the Erasmus program 2022/2023, aimed at students who meet the following conditions: to be enrolled in any university in the country, to be registered in Álava and to be accepted in the mobility program for undergraduate students as long as the destination is within the member states of the European Union.

General characteristics

 Amount of aid: The program has a fixed budget, which is distributed among the beneficiaries, according to the number of months spent by the students in foreign universities. Therefore, it is not possible to determine a priori how many scholarships will be awarded. If the amount of scholarships requested exceeds the allocated budget, this amount will be divided among all the applications that meet the requirements. This distribution will in no way exceed the amount of the aid established on these bases.

Amount of support:

• Full academic year at an external university: €1200.
• Stays between four and six months at an external university: €600.
• Stays of less than four months: €120 for each month spent at a foreign university.
• This amount can be lower, if the amount corresponding to the granted scholarships is higher than the total amount allocated for this purpose.
• Only the months initially planned in the official exchange program will be taken into account, and the student's later extensions of stay will not be taken into account.
• Each person will be given a single grant throughout their student career for all exchange programs.
• Assistance: Taking into account the requested conditions, it will be decided at each moment to grant or refuse the requested assistance, and the decision will be irrevocable.
• This support can be complementary to the support of other organizations.
• Loss of aid: Students who interrupt their stay at the foreign university before the date specified in the established calendar will lose the right to receive this aid, and must notify becas@fundacionvital.eus as soon as possible, either in person or through the university.

Requirements to be met by applicants

• They must be students of any national university, and their University must have been officially selected to participate in the Erasmus Mobility Program for undergraduate (not internship, postgraduate, master or doctoral) students in the European Union in the academic year 2022/2023.
• The destination must be within the member states of the European Union.
• Applicants must be registered in Álava before January 1, 2020.
• All applicants must be holders of a K26 or K26+ card (if they are over 30 years old, holders of any Kutxabank financial card), and they must also be holders of an active Kutxabank account. Accounts and cards must be issued and/or opened before January 1, 2022.
