Xiaomi's new electric motorcycle connects to your mobile (II)

Other bikes form Xiaomi

Of all the technological products that Xiaomi offers for sale, the "zero emission" moped that they have released is surely the closest to the Xiaomi MI HIMO T1, a hybrid between an electric motorcycle and a moped and at a price of 399 euros.

But the new Xiaomi A1 and its A1 Pro version have lost the pedals and have a redesigned design. So we would talk about an electric moped.

Xiaomi A1 and A1 Pro, with a range of 70 km and from 384 euros

The Chinese manufacturer's new motorcycle with an electric propulsion system is the result of a collaboration with 70Mai, another company commissioned to develop these two-wheeled vehicles.

The two versions of this Xiaomi, called A1 and A1 Pro, have an electric motor of approximately 750 W and can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h, perhaps a little low for a vehicle of this type.

The entry version Xiaomi A1 has a battery of 768 Wh and the A1 Pro has a capacity of 960 Wh. It would allow them to cover a distance of 60 and 70 km respectively on a full load. The weight of 52 kg allows it to move easily, so as not to penalize the already quite low range.

In this Xiaomi model, the batteries can be removed and easily transported for charging at home or with those installed directly on the moped. In the best case, the cells of these batteries can be fully charged in approximately 7.5 hours.

Among the components we find in the Xiaomi A1 and A1 Pro, it is worth noting that it has a hydraulic disc brake for the front wheel and a drum brake at the rear, as well as a digital display in the instrumentation area, which is touch-sensitive and will have GPS navigation if we get the standard version. .

Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, you can use the phone as a "key" to unlock and start the motorcycle, and a camera located on the front of the frame allows you to record or take photos, which are stored in a memory, Xiaomi A1 Pro price.

In the crowdfunding process on Xiaomi's youpin portal, the payment made in China is 384 euros for the Xiaomi A1 and 512 euros for the Xiaomi A1 Pro, although they have already exceeded the sales target for their manufacturing and distribution, due to the cost of access, which could soon increase your commercialization when started in the conventional way.
