The Chinese company Xiaomi gives us a lot of good headlines with some of the products it launches in the market. And we're not exactly talking about those that he offers us directly through his brand, but the ones that are sold by the different brands in his ecosystem through his crowdfunding platform. And these products always offer an amazing price-performance ratio. This time, we're talking about a motorcycle, a scooter that costs the same as an entry-level iPad.
This is what the new XC3 Pro looks like
This motorcycle is one of those scooters that is a hybrid of a scooter and a motorcycle. It has the mechanics of one of the first, but it comes to us in the form of a small displacement motorcycle. The motorcycle is 100% electric, which does not have an LED screen like other models, but which allows us to pair it with our smartphone. This means that the terminal can become a screen that shows us all the information related to the trips we make on the motorcycle. To do this, we will have to download an application, which will synchronize with the electric motorcycle.
With it, for example, we can start the motorcycle, unlock it and lock it at the same time to prevent thieves from taking it over. Furthermore, when we have parked, we can find out where the motorcycle is, consult historical statistics, diagnose the condition of the motorcycle and customize its daily use. The engine of this motorcycle has a power of 400W, which allows us to move at a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hour, and it also has excellent lighting. Thanks to the smart headlights, they turn on when they detect that there is little light between us. We also have practical hooks to comfortably carry bags on our motorcycle.
There is a compatible helmet that we can also connect to our phone, which allows us to call the voice assistant, keeping our hands on the wheel to access all the information we need. Basically, we are once again dealing with an electric bicycle disguised as a motorcycle, which is basically very similar in its mechanics, offering very similar power to a bicycle. Therefore, it is designed to move calmly around the city, at moderate speed, but with all the comfort offered by a large and soft motorcycle seat. We also have a second seat to carry a companion, as well as a basket to carry shopping or a small backpack.
A bicycle with pedals can therefore be used equally as an electrically assisted bicycle. So it has everything. And especially if we consider its price, which is ridiculous even if we are talking about an electric bike. The price that has arrived on the Xiaomi Youpin platform is just 400 euros. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get to Spain, especially at this price. And we highly doubt that it can be imported.
