CyberDog is Xiaomi's first foray into quadruped robotics for the open source community. To adapt to biological organisms, the robot is equipped with 11 high-precision sensors that provide immediate feedback to guide movements. It includes touch sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, GPS modules and more, giving you greater ability to sense, analyze and interact with your environment. It was presented in Barcelona, at MWC22, in front of the unusual anticipation of the people.
Interactive experience
CyberDog is equipped with technology that gives it movement similar to other quadruped animals, and adds interactive visual and auditory capabilities so that it can follow instructions, recognize its owner and automatically follow the movement of its companion.
Applied technologies
Equipped with a high-precision environment detection system, it has 11 sensors all over the body that transmit information to the AI brain in real time, so that it can detect and respond to information about the environment.
Multiple integrated sensors allow for a number of interactive functions, as well as environmental sensing and analysis capabilities.
Through computer vision, it detects and recognizes information related to the user, always providing intelligent responses.
Movement and the brain
The robot dog is equipped with a high-performance servo motor that can generate a maximum speed of 3.2 m/s.
The brain has 384 CUDA cores, 48 Tensor cores, 6 Carmel ARM CPUs and two deep learning acceleration engines that can handle multiple big data sensors.
control
It allows control by voice, remote control, mobile phone, or simply saying 'CyberDog' is enough to give instructions to perform complex actions.
