We continue to discover new mobiles almost every day, and this time it's the turn of a mid-range phone with one of its main attractions in design. And we say this because of its ability to change color, a feature we have also seen in some recent Realme models. We are talking about the new Vivo V23 5G, a phone that is already on sale in Spain. We will know its versions and prices, as well as its technical specifications, so that we can check out what this interesting terminal offers beyond its ability to change color.
We can consider this new phone as a mid-range premium. It is worth noting that it is an expensive terminal, at 499 euros, although it has a high memory of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the reach of a few mobile phones in this segment. It’s a phone with an ambitious profile, no doubt. Depending on the light it receives, it has a terminal that changes color in the background and, as a result, it will undoubtedly be impressive to have this phone in your hands.
This phone comes with a screen that catches our attention, as it recovers the indentation in its widest expression, something we already saw excluded except for the iPhone. In this case, it is a terminal with AMOLED display technology, which offers Full HD + resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 90 Hz. So it’s pretty complete in this aspect. In terms of performance, this is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, providing 5G connectivity and good mid-range phone performance. Also, as we have seen, it has a lot of RAM and internal storage.
The camera has three rear sensors, the main one is 64 megapixels, and it has an ultra wide angle of 8 megapixels and a 2 megapixel macro. Another striking feature of this phone is that it has a dual camera on the front, hence the indentation. This has a 50 megapixel main sensor and an ultra wide 8 megapixel angle. As you can see, this is an unprecedented selfie camera setup. The battery has a capacity of 4200mAh, with a fast charge of 44W, which is fine, it can charge 68% in 30 minutes, but it is a bit far from the competition.
It launches dual-band Wi-Fi, as well as Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC to pay at the establishment, as well as a USB Type C connector. It comes with an integrated fingerprint reader on the screen, and is quite light, weighing 179 grams, as well as 7.6 mm thick, which makes the terminal quite compact and light. Attractive mobile on a visual level, and with good specs, it does not have as much advantage and price ratio as other competitors.
The Chinese brand Vivo has expanded its mobile catalog with the introduction of a new mid-range member in Spain: the Vivo V23 5G, a version that changes the color of the back when the sun shines and focuses on the front camera, 50 megapixels.
Vivo V23 5G was launched on April 1 in Spain for its single configuration at a price of 499 euros, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The new terminal focuses on light, both in photography and in its design. Its golden color changes color when it receives sunlight, turning it into a shade of green sea.
To do this, it uses fluorite crystal, and users can use templates to temporarily add drawings. This glass is also used in the matte black version, although it does not change color.
The Vivo V23 5G has a flat-edge design, weighs 181 grams in the gold variant (179 grams in black) and a profile of 7.55 millimeters (dropped to 7.39 millimeters in the black model).
One of its highlights is the front camera, located in a notch similar to the iPhone, although in this case it consists of two image sensors.
The main lens is 50 megapixels, while the second is an 8-megapixel super wide-angle sensor with a 105-degree display range to allow more people to enter selfies.
The front-facing camera has support for 4K resolution and HDR video, and also has an HD portrait function with 4-pixel-in-one fusion technology that allows it to be used in night mode. It also includes a dual front flash with customizable light warmth.
