Vidext: AI for videos

One of the start-ups that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create video, Vidext, was founded in San Sebastian in 2021 by Jon Enriquez, Beñat Arrizabalaga and Miguel Ángel Castillo.

Its technological solution allows texts and documents to be converted into attractive videos in all the necessary languages in a matter of minutes thanks to an avatar that is powered by AI. A solution that, according to the company, allows scalable content to be generated without recording or editing knowledge, in addition to reducing time and costs for companies in the production of their content. Among the companies that use its platform are Iberdrola, Cepsa, Correos or Isdin.

The resources obtained will be mainly used to develop a new version of the product, which will improve quality and expand use cases, revolutionizing the generation of audiovisual content. This update will be especially focused on human resources and sales teams, providing innovative solutions for their specific needs.

The investment will also be used for the company's international expansion, with the aim of consolidating its presence in key markets. To date, its technology has already been successfully implemented in more than 30 countries.
