Against this backdrop, Veridas, a Navarrese technology company specialized in identity and biometrics, launches 'Veridas Nexus', the first identity wallet that promises to transform the way in which individuals and organizations interact in digital and physical environments.

What is an Identity Wallet?

In it we store different credentials that enable us to use different services such as credit cards, transportation cards, football or basketball team passes, or work accreditations.

All of them are linked to our real identity, which in the physical world we demonstrate with official identity documents or credentials.
“Veridas Nexus” offers an equivalent solution that is based on online verification of the person's identity. During this process, the authenticity of the identity document or credential is checked and it is associated with the user who carries out the process through a selfie.

This one-time verification marks the beginning of a truly transformative experience. Based on this real identity, users can begin to accumulate digital credentials in the wallet, allowing them to access different services in an agile and comfortable way.

For example, access to corporate or government websites would not require a password and username, but rather access could be done directly with a selfie. The same occurs in physical spaces, where access to facilities or services such as transportation could be done with the face, without the need to carry physical credentials.
