Uraphex by Urtech Water, achieving a significant environmental impact in Navarre

On the afternoon of November 4, the Córdoba Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the 'TOP101 Spain Up Nation' awards gala, promoted by the Spanish Association of Regional Development Agencies (ADR Forum), together with the public companies CEIN and Sodena and the National Innovation Company (ENISA). At the gala, representatives of institutions from all the autonomous communities presented 101 distinctions to startups from their territory. On behalf of Navarre, the Director General of Energy, Business R&D&I and Entrepreneurship, Uxue Itoiz, was in charge of recognizing the six Navarre companies that were awarded.

At the gala, 'Uraphex by Urtech Water' was chosen as the company with the greatest social and/or environmental impact in the Regional Community in the 'TOP101 Spain Up Nation' for innovative entrepreneurship. The companies Nucaps, MOA Foodtech, Genbioma, Ingredalia and Medical Plasmas are also among the winners of these awards, which were organized for the first time this year.

Of the awarded companies, 19 (one from each autonomous community and city) were chosen by an expert jury as innovative companies with the greatest social and/or environmental impact, thus becoming ambassadors of the 'Spain Up Nation' brand, promoted by ENISA to position Spain as a global reference in innovative entrepreneurship.

The 101 TOP101 startups were chosen, among other things, for the capacity and leadership of their entrepreneurial teams, the level of innovation of their business model and their capacity for scalability and internationalization. Their social, economic and environmental impact was also taken into account, based on their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The awarded companies have obtained the seal of the most innovative companies with the greatest impact on the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as a networking agenda, B2B sessions with investing entities, tailored training and pitch deck training (indicating training sessions). They will also benefit from the direct approval of the innovation level of the startup certificate.
