TokenTrotter allows you to enjoy trips to cities from another point of view.
The application, developed by BlockGummies, is aimed at both travelers and tourist guides, museums or establishments that want to connect with their network.
The idea of creating TokenTrotter was born on a trip to Vienna by the creators of this project. During their stay there, they thought about how useful it could be to listen to guides to the monuments, museums and most interesting points while walking around the city. The goal was to create an easy-to-use tool that would allow you to take a free tour just by using headphones.
The app allows you to enjoy audio guides to the monuments and points of interest in Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona, London, Paris and New York. In addition, users can take free tours or participate in gymkhanas and treasure hunts in these cities to learn different secrets. TokenTrotter also includes hundreds of points of interest and a planning tool to organize a route tailored to the tastes or needs of the people who use it.
The staff is made up of five people with experience in the fields of design, programming, marketing and content creation.
Looking to the future, TokenTrotter wants to continue growing, incorporating more cities, tours and points of interest, as well as creating a blockchain layer that allows content creators to manage the intellectual property of their audio guides and their monetization. At the same time, for the acquisition of new users, marketing campaigns will increasingly play a leading role.
