The council has launched the Euskaragiletu initiative, considering that it is the right moment to take an important step forward in the process of normalizing the use of Basque in the socio-economic sphere. This program offers the opportunity to meet companies with an advanced Basque-speaking process and companies that have been working for many years in the Basque language normalization process.
Euskaragiletu is aimed at companies that want to improve or implement Basque plans, or those with difficulties for a process of normalization of the use of Basque. These companies will visit the Euskaragiles companies and will be able to use the experience of these companies to advance standardization.
The SPR I Group has decided to join this initiative, making the program known through its communication supports and encouraging companies to participate in it.
Two types of visit
Visits will be organized according to the type of company. Two groups have been established: group A, with companies that already have a Basque plan and group B, with companies that do not have a Basque plan. Those of group A will know companies that have gone through this process and will obtain help and advice. Group B companies, those that do not have a Basque plan, will know firsthand the benefits of the Euskaragiles normalization process, and then address this process, if they wish.
Group A visits will last 02:30 hours, during which they will learn about the development and evolution of the Basque language plan of the company visited, among other things. Group B visits will have an expected duration of 02:15 hours, during which they will receive information on the benefits of the Basque plans. This project has the support of the Basque Government.
