The consortium for the EBSI-Vector project, led by the technology multinational Izertis, has won the 'Inatba' award, which recognizes in Europe the best international projects in which 'blockchain' technology has been used.
The Spanish company, together with its partners, has been awarded in the category of 'Innovation in the Public Sector' for the 'EBSI-Vector' project for the implementation of the technological infrastructure with which to guarantee the veracity and traceability of the credentials of citizens of the European Union.
At the gala held in Brussels (Belgium), on Tuesday night, the one known as the 'Oscar' of European 'blockchain' projects distinguished EBSI-Vectorcomo, "a pioneer for its achievement in the fusion of innovation and sustainability of this initiative", as the organization announced during the delivery.
During the awards ceremony, the American company FireBlocks was also recognized in other categories, as 'Best Economic ReFi', or UNHCR, as 'Best Sustainable Innovation Project' for its help to refugees with this same technology.

EBSI-Vector is a large-scale implementation, bringing together 50 partners from 20 countries, including the National Mint and Stamp Factory (FNMT), or its French counterpart, La Poste, among others. Also more than 100 universities on the continent.
Inatba (International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications) was created in 2019 by the European Commission and is recognized as the reference body for the promotion, defense and adoption and DLT in Europe.
