Round tables, inspiring talks, workshops, concerts, theater, craft fair and many other activities, in three thematic days.
The Gran Kedada Rural returns in September with a program full of main dishes: from September 27 to 29 and, for the third consecutive year, the Alava municipality of Kuartango once again brings together Talent, Culture and Tradition in this meeting that has become an unmissable event for the rural and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Once again, three thematic days will claim and make visible the best references of each territory, with Innovation as a condiment for the entire program; round tables on the hottest topics, presentations of successful projects and workshops, as well as large concerts, literary talks, craft fairs and activities in contact with nature.
Organized by the Alava cooperative BIKO through its 'Rural Citizen' initiative, La Gran Kedada Rural is sponsored by the Basque Government, Álava Provincial Council, Kuartango City Council, Vital Fundazioa Foundation and Redeia, returns with “the most powerful program in All these years". The third edition will host the Final Event of 'Ashoka Changemakers', an international organization of reference in entrepreneurship and social innovation. There will also be 'Jordi Évole', who has already become a faithful follower of the event, as well as officials from Repsol, Ecodes, Ashoka and the secretary of the Demographic Challenge, 'Francisco Boya'.
Entrepreneurs, institutional and business representatives, innovation experts and professionals from the primary sector, members of associations and foundations will meet to address current issues.
Talent, Culture and Tradition
Each of the days that make up the meeting is specialized in a specific topic.
Talent will be on Friday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. This day aims to find answers for fair, prosperous and sustainable rural development from a constructive and daring perspective. Round tables have been organized on topics as diverse as entrepreneurial mayors, conscious energy or industry and rural innovation. There will also be workshops with 'Sannas' and 'Ashoka' for an entrepreneurship with positive impact, presentations of rural projects from all territories, cooperation dynamics with culinary tasting by 'NegoBide Círculo Empresarial' and visits to companies based in Kuartango Lab. As a finishing touch, there will be a conversation space with 'Jordi Évole' and 'Depedro', lighting the artistic intervention “Looking for Huidobro Nº15” by 'Juan Miguel Cortés' made specifically for LGKR and guided observation of the night sky.
Culture will take place on Saturday the 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. It is the day in which the desire to build bridges between cities and towns crystallizes thanks to the driving force of music. Attendees will be able to enjoy an acoustic performance by 'Depedro', concerts by 'El Naán Trio', 'Demode Quartet' and 'The Allnighter', and a karaoke with 'Los Niño Jesús'. In addition, there will be a video game workshop and another on Wikimedia, forest bathing, intergenerational activity, a literary cafe with Basque authors of the stature of 'Karmele Jaio', a vermouth full of novel intrigue, a talk about the power of the written word with authors premises and traveling photography space.
On Sunday, September 29, Tradition Day will be celebrated, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is the open day, a tribute to roots and customs, transforming the concept of traditional fairs. For now, the program includes a fair of local products and crafts, yoga, a botanical walk, a concert by 'Sarabat d'Aran', a play with 'Ipurbeltz' and the photography space will continue.
To enjoy the Talent and Culture days, tickets for one or two days have been available, with special prices for children. Tradition will be free to access.
