Managers of Basque companies and young people with international experience are the protagonists of the new expansion campaign; The Basque Government intends to promote the recruitment of young professionals through the Youth Return Program.
This program promotes the return of young professionals under the age of 35 to other countries or autonomous communities through the employment contract funded by Lanbid.
The campaign is already open, mainly through social media, and the main elements of the campaign itself are some testimonials by young people and entrepreneurs about the motto "It was worth it". The title refers to the level of satisfaction of the protagonists with this program, which has received up to 50% of the salaries paid to the person hired by the profession and indefinitely.
"Employers support the introduction of young people who have received vocational training abroad to bring new solutions, higher levels of efficiency and a variety of work processes," said Borja Belandia, Managing Director of the Basque Employment Service.
Julen, Asier and Ane, three young men, respectively, are the protagonists of some of the campaign elements. The three decided to return to the Basque Country last year, after completing a period of training and work abroad, and learning about the benefits of the Youth Return Program and the ease of accessing Lanbide.
"They returned to the Basque Country from Delhi, Los Angeles and Paris, respectively, with a work contract that matched their specialization and, with the help they received from the profession, paid for part of their travel expenses," Belanda said.
Two entrepreneurs, Leire and Cristina, and Luis, an entrepreneur who has settled in Zamudio's technology park, form the audio-visual material that Lanbid has prepared for his new campaign.
"We seek the complicity of Basque businessmen, when it comes to choosing a contract, to take into account the high quality of training offered to young people who are beyond our borders," Belandia said. k.
12,000 euros
The Youth Return Program provides assistance to Basque companies, which can be up to 12,000 euros per indefinite contract, representing 50% of the established salary.
The subsidiary is twofold: on the one hand, Basque companies that hire Basque people who have been working for at least 12 months have been subsidized to pay part of their salary; On the other hand, the young people hired have received assistance to pay the expenses of the trips. Recruitment may not be less than one year.
