The automotive cluster rewards Maier
ACICAE (Automobile Cluster of Euskadi) celebrated the silver wedding of its foundation with a set of activities such as conferences, exhibitions and recognitions to the agents that contribute to the development of the automotive industry.
The Maier cooperative was one of the recognized companies in the event that took place on July 5 at the AIC (Automotive Intelligence Center) in Boroa and in which a large representation of the Basque automotive industry met.
Maier was awarded "for its remarkable evolution during its more than 40 years of history; for its capacity for continuous adaptation; for the consolidation in international markets, as well as the development of new technological capabilities, which has made Maier a global leader and strategic partner of the main automotive brands, having achieved that this positioning is translated into an economic contribution and generation of knowledge in our environment. "
Likewise, in this act the founder of the Cooperative Experience, José María Arizmendiarrieta, was also recognized, an award that was collected by Iñigo Ucín, president of the General Council of MONDRAGON. The award was granted "for its ability to promote a cooperative environment that has reached a global dimension, and where the commitment to the automotive sector has always played a relevant role."
