Since Monday, the TEK of Zumarraga is the first energy community to offer its members the possibility of sharing an electric car through a 'car sharing' system that will allow them to do everything from reserving the vehicle to opening and closing it through an exclusive application called 'CEL's GO'.
It is a pioneering project promoted by the Zumarraga City Council in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, and represents a commitment to the development of a more sustainable and responsible community.
The shared mobility project offers multiple advantages for Zumarraga members. A more sustainable mobility alternative, which contributes to reducing dependence on private vehicles, the initiative not only represents a practical transport solution, but also entails significant economic and environmental benefits.
The reservation of this vehicle will be made by applying a stipulated hourly rate, while the energy source of the car will be TEK itself. It can be recharged at the 'electric station' located in the Zelai Arizti car park, in a space provided by the City Council, as well as the parking space for this car, also located in this car park.
