Tecnalia has developed a new vehicle deployment system to improve ride estimation and collision avoidance with 3D alerts.

 

The new system reconstructs objects around the vehicle with a Time-to-Flight camera. This allows it to calculate empty intervals and to avoid collisions at the same time.

 

With this new system created by the Basque technology center, it detects the registration of vehicles in the area, thanks to the relation between pixel and 3D point.
