Science and Technology in the feminine in 21 APTE science and technology parks in a new edition together with Inspiring Girls.
The 7th edition of the Science and Technology in the feminine initiative that inspires scientific and technological vocations among the young female public promoted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE).
A total of 21 science and technology parks members of APTE actively participate in this new edition of the project.
As in the previous edition, the programme will run until the end of February 2025 and will include visits to the collaborating parks, practical workshops, a tour of the exhibitions: “Women who changed the world” – made up of 35 women who have marked the history of science and technology – and “Women who change the world” – which already has 241 professionals from the environment of the collaborating parks in the project –, participation in a national competition on challenges focused on the SDGs and the delivery of illustrated guides with examples of professional opportunities for STEAM studies: “What do I want to be when I grow up?” and “What are disruptive technologies?”.
During the conferences, there will also be presentations given by women who work in the participating parks or their surroundings, and who are dedicated to the field of science and technology.
In addition, the programme celebrates two new collaborations: one with Hitachi Rail, one of the world's largest railway manufacturers, which will sponsor the closing celebration of the project and the SDG competition awards, and another with KeepCoding, an institution dedicated to technological training, which will offer the winning group of the competition a programming course from its training catalogue.
