Realme has just presented its new Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and Realme 12 Pro 5G, the most important mid-range models of the year. They are not the most emblematic, belonging to the Realme GT range, but they are its most representative models. Here are some Realme 12 Pros that showcase the best of the house, with a very reasonable price, great design and cutting-edge technical specifications.

These are the features of the new Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro. They are currently on sale in the country of origin of the brand, and if they are not too expensive in euros they could be the best mobile phones of the year in terms of quality/price ratio.

Vegan leather and super photo section with telephoto

The Realme 12 Pro+5G is available in three versions, but they all share that vegan leather finish we saw last year. This time the camera is marked with a circular center module and a finish with curved edges.
We have a 6.7-inch OLED panel with FullHD+ resolution, 93% aspect ratio and 120 Hz refresh rate. The brightness of the panel reaches 950 nits, far from high-end nits but a very good figure for the mid-range terminal that we finally have in front of us.

Inside the Realme 12 Pro+ we have a powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, manufactured in 4 nanometers and twice as powerful as the previous generation. The non-Plus version comes with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

They come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB in the base version, being configurable to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both models have a 5,000 mAh battery and 67W fast charging. Great figures, despite the lack of wireless charging.

In the photos section, the new Realme 12 Pro stands out the most. Finally, they have reached the telephoto lens, with the new 32 megapixel IMX709 sensor in the standard model and Samsung's OV64B telephoto lens with 64 megapixels, f/2.8, optical stabilization and 3x optical zoom. Just to give you an idea, it's the same telephoto sensor built into the OnePlus 12.

Along with it, we have a main 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor, this time the same one we have on the OnePlus 12R. As we can see, Realme adds to its Plus model some components that other brands reserve for their flagship models.

In terms of software, it has Android 14 along with its own RealmeUI 5.0 customization layer. In connectivity we have WiFi 6, NFC and 5G.

Availability and price of Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro

The new Realme has already gone on sale in India. They are available in three finishes: blue, gold and orange, with vegan leather. These are their official prices:
- Realme 12 Pro 5G (8 + 128 GB): 23,999 rupees (about 266 euros).
- Realme 12 Pro 5G (8 + 256 GB): 26,999 rupees (about 299 euros).
- Realme 12 Pro+ 5G (8 + 128 GB): 29,999 rupees (about 332 euros).
