Qassay develops medical readers for the diagnosis of diseases such as cancer or diabetes.
Qassay, a Basque brand dedicated to the design, manufacturing and monitoring of medical-health devices (lateral flow readers). Thanks to its digital and portable lateral flow reader, together with its mobile application and a cloud software platform, it is capable of offering quantitative and qualitative results of biomarkers such as diabetes, cancer, sexually transmitted diseases, vitamins or cardiovascular pathologies.
Today Qassay's readers are limited to professionals in the health sector for its application in the detection and monitoring of diseases. With the national market already covered, the company is now focused on its internationalization, with a focus on markets such as the United States.
Qassay is part of the P4Q company, located in Alonsotegi (Bizkaia), dedicated to advanced electronics and the development of IoT devices, for which they rely on different technologies such as Machine Learning, Big Data and/or Cloud Analysis. It has more than 300 professionals on staff, distributed between its plants in the Basque Country, the United States and China and its advanced service centers in Chile, Brazil and Mexico.
During their journey, Qassay and P4Q have had the help of the SPRI Group, for example, for the development of their software and mobile applications. In addition, they have participated in the Bind 4.0 program.
