Lighting technologies have evolved so much that there are now alternatives for almost every need. From classic LED bulbs to smart lamps. Philips Hue, one of the most popular product lines in the field, has updated its catalog to include new home solutions.
Based on the concept that “personalization is a key aspect in lighting”, Signify has introduced a new range of Philips Hue products, designed to be useful in many parts of our home, as well as in a variety of situations. Let's look at the new proposals that the manufacturer is committed to one by one.
Among the products presented are Gradient Signe floor and table lamps. We are not dealing with something completely new, but an update on a model that was recently introduced. The new Gradient Signe floor and table lamps retain all the familiar features, such as dynamic lighting effects and sleek design.
However, the new models release a “natural dawn” feature that will allow us to wake up with a warm light that will gradually turn on. As if it were an alarm clock, all we have to do is set the time we want to wake up in the mobile app.
As in the previous model, we have two size lamps (floor and table) and two color lamps (white and black). We can also use automation, create dynamic scenes and use them directly via Bluetooth, without the need for a Hue Bridge.
Another model presented is the Hue Go portable table lamp: Philips already has other portable solutions in its catalog, but none with the features of this new proposal. It’s a lamp with a “classic” design, but it hides some interesting advantages: we can choose different lighting effects, it works with the app and voice commands.
The most interesting? As its name suggests, it is a portable table lamp. This means that it is charged while it is in its station, but you can move it to another place in your home at any time, as well as to the terrace, patio or garden.
When the lighting is at maximum level, the autonomy is about six hours, but with a lower brightness it can last up to 48 hours on a single charge.
Another interesting solution for home lighting is the Philips Hue Perifo, called the “king of flexibility”. It is a modular system that allows you to add or remove smart spotlights and pendant lamps.
At its best, this solution, which is committed to personalization, will allow us to achieve the environment we need with different configurations.
We also have a new Philips Hue Tap dial switch, in black or white, that allows you to adjust the light with one turn of its dial: the faster you turn it, the faster the lights turn on or off.
This switch has four buttons to control custom “light scenes,” and its magnetic base allows you to use the Tap dial as a remote.
As stated on Signify, the availability and price of new Philips Hue products will be as follows:
The launch of these new products includes two innovations that are particularly important for Philips Hue: fully customizable rail lighting with its own range of lights; and a portable rechargeable lamp designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
In addition, there is a new smart switch in elegant black and white color that offers intuitive dimming by rotating the switch dial and with its four buttons that has the ability to set scenes and assign rooms.
For everyday well-being, the new Wake up automation from the Philips Hue app brings a personalized and natural sun effect to the bedroom.
