Mundukide and Azurmendi restaurant chef Eneko Atxa have launched the #BestWorldRecipes initiative. It aims to raise the funds needed to boost the economies of the poorest countries in the South and improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, based on a cooperative key.
And why this recipe? The usual collaborative work of Mundukide is fully realized, as it achieves the involvement and awareness of the world. The aim of this three-star (Azurmendi restaurant) campaign is to raise awareness of the important role of the people of the Basque Country in collaborating with the countries of the South.
To this end, Mundukid has set up a fundraising section on its website so that people who wish to make a contribution can do so online and in a safe and easy way, choosing the most convenient method: Card, Bizum or bank transfer. Campaign participants will be able to deduct their donation by filling in their tax certificate details.
The goal of Mundukide is to increase the capacity of local people through long-term programs to generate income that will contribute to equitable and sustainable development so that people can be self-sufficient and self-sufficient. We share experiences, resources and cooperative knowledge to promote the self-managed and comprehensive development of the parties involved. To this end, we activate solidarity in the world of cooperative work, based on and guided by the values and principles of Mundukide.
We work with local organizations in Mozambique in the development of family farming, providing technical support to farmers, creating a supply and marketing network, and establishing irrigation systems, among other things. In Ethiopia, on the other hand, all the work done in Mozambique for 20 years has been applied: always with the help of NGOs and local associations, with the aim of equitable and sustainable development. In Ecuador, the aim is to help strengthen the organization of agricultural and livestock initiatives with a vocation to transform society. In Colombia, we focus on improving the lives of women farmers and recyclers in the city of Pasto. The aim is to increase their technical, political and resilience skills through a training, technical support and networking strategy. In Brazil, we contribute to the socio-economic development of families in the settlements and camps of the Landless Workers Movement, training local people in management and improving the activities of cooperatives, from production to marketing.
They argued: "There is a component that enhances all meals and gatherings, that gives energy and flavor to every moment and serves to have a better future. You are the main component.

We are looking for people here to help the local producers. We want to get close to products from poor places in Mozambique, Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and other countries. And with you and the “recipe for change,” we will be able to improve the living conditions of hundreds of thousands of people.
