Modfie is an online casting and hiring platform that connects the talent of people, both professionals and amateurs, with the world of film, fashion and advertising.

The platform stands out for its intuitive and easy-to-use tool that allows users to access ongoing castings and even publish calls for applications. “Through our platform, anyone can offer their image and talent privately and free of charge to professionals in film, fashion or advertising,” explain its managers.

With a database of over 105,000 profiles of actresses, actors, models and extras, possibly the largest in the country, Modfie offers agencies and producers the option of publishing detailed casting announcements. These calls may include precise specifications about the profile sought, personal characteristics, and even the remuneration offered. Interested candidates, if they meet the requirements, can register and opt for opportunities in promotional campaigns, social networks, special events, series and films.

Each advertisement visible on the platform provides detailed information about the required requirements, dates and times, filming locations, and whether it is necessary to present materials such as a presentation video, among other relevant details.

On the other hand, Modfie also facilitates access to its database for production companies and companies in the audiovisual and advertising sector. This allows them to consult a wide catalogue of profiles that include photos, videos and voice recordings, all accessible through a platform focused on the sector that even automatically organizes a day of filming.

Based in Donostia and led by entrepreneur Jurdan Berrio, the startup has received financial support from the Guipuzcoan accelerator BerriUp. Among his most notable achievements is his participation in major productions such as Balenciaga, Ane y Akelarre and El Hoyo 2. Currently, the Modfie team is working on, among others, a war film that is being shot in Bizkaia.
