Manu Fandiño, CEO of Kaytek and Asier Agirre, Sales Director.
Kaytek is a startup located in the BIC Ezkerraldea in Barakaldo that offers a unique digitalization model in industrial companies: it is simple because it does not require programming and can be implemented in one day and at the same time it is complete and applicable to manufacturing and maintenance processes. and quality of any type of company.

The company emerged in 2018 at the initiative of several professionals in Big Data and IoT, management of solutions for the industry and in solving innovation challenges in leading international companies.

They developed a platform where processes are defined without the need for programming. The platform allows agile editing of processes at any time, to be implemented immediately in the plant where operators only have to follow the new guidelines.

The tool has a technological base composed of Big Data, IoT, Blockchain and artificial intelligence in Cloud Computing format. The business model is an annual subscription with a flat rate, with three different tranches of companies: small, medium and large.

The tool does not require software development. Anyone who can use a PowerPoint can use the platform.

New generation of applications

It belongs to a new generation of applications known as BPMS. Another advantage is that it has absolute traceability of the processes, raw materials, machinery metrics, possible incidents, the daily work report of the operators...

The sectors for which Kaytek works range from foundries, capital goods and aeronautics to plastics and automotive. The staff is made up of 11 people. R&D&i is key for Kaytek and accounts for 90% of its costs.

A technological startup whose challenges are to double its turnover again this year and open two branches in Madrid and Andalusia. By 2025, the goal is internationalization with the opening of new delegations.
