Looks more natural in video calls

Making video calls has become quite common in recent months, especially since the pandemic hit us. This has forced us, both personally and professionally, to keep our social distance by making video calls. And of course we got to know webcams, which are the cameras we use to make these calls. The problem is that many of us are not satisfied with the view shown in these calls. The one who doesn’t focus on us from the top of the screen, because he does it from the laptop keyboard ... We never appear focused on a natural point of view.

It's not the whim of the manufacturers, it's the video calling environment. And the most common is to put the webcam on the monitor, which forces us to raise our heads for meetings. Alternatively, it can be placed at the bottom of the monitor, not forgetting that there are also laptops that integrate it into a keyboard key. In these cases, the perspective will not be the best, and the video call will bring a unique look to our double chin.

Well, Center Cam comes to the market to provide us with the most personalization when it comes to shaping ourselves within the video call. Because it has a flexible cable, but it stays in a stable position without moving. This means that we can place the webcam in the center of our monitor when the video call begins. In this way we will see the focus on the frame, and from the front, a view that is almost impossible in most cases. But not only that, if another type of framing is needed, we can easily get it thanks to the fully customizable design.

This way, we will always be able to see it from the front and without distortion, regardless of the monitor or computer we use. The webcam has a 1920x1080 pixel Full HD sensor. This can record video at 30 frames per second, and is compatible with Windows, from XP to version 11, as well as Android, MacOS or Linux, which can be used on any device with a USB port. The lens is f2,1 and 6 mm, 14 mm in diameter and 48 mm long.

It has an automatic white balance, and the flexible cable is 30 centimeters long. The USB connection cable, on the other hand, is one meter and eight inches long. This webcam is already available on Indiegogo; We can buy from 120 euros, excluding shipping costs. It will be given in January 2022 to those who trust it.

It will certainly be an original webcam for making video calls that looks more natural and flattering than our regular computer camera.

People at the center of technology

The Center Cam allows people to see each other while they are in a video conference. Most webcams are placed at the top of the screen. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. But that means you can't see the people you're talking to or the notes you're referring to. Below is a process of looking up and down, up and down. More importantly, we lose a basic human connection necessary for communication; 90% is non-verbal.

Center Cam fixes this problem by placing the camera in the center of the screen where the action is. So if you’re using the Center Cam webcam as a corporate shipowner working with three screens and 10 windows during your video conference, or a therapist working with a very important client throughout the session, you’ll see them and they’ll see you in real time. Thus, Center Cam is the only camera on the market that facilitates the simple and essential aspect of human connection.
