With regard to the virtual offer in public centers, Intermediate Level Vehicle Electromechanical Technician (CIP Virgen del Camino), Heat Production Installation Technician (CIP Virgen del Camino) and Welding and Boiler Technician (CIP Virgen del Camino).

In the modular offer, the public Vocational Training centers of Navarre offer training courses at the Middle Level, with the Technician of Electromechanics of Machines (CIP Virgen del Camino), and at the Higher Level, with the Senior Technician of Management Support (CIP Elizondo), in Basque.

Among the centers, CIP Virgen del Camino deserves a special mention, a reference center in industrial specialties, which makes a significant effort to flex its offer and offers new training modalities, such as virtual and modular offer, making its teaching easier to access to other audiences, and training- creating routes to train highly specialized professionals (electromechanical machinery).
The new offer has been configured taking into account the requirements of the different business sectors of Navarre in their families and different geographical areas, in addition to the needs of different economic and social agents.

At the end of the event, the Minister of Education, Carlos Gimeno, wanted to highlight that with this offer "the main goals and values of vocational education continue to be strengthened: attractive, flexible, diversified, quality, accessible to all, students and inclusive". The advisor considered it very important to opt for new professional profiles that ensure a very diversified offer and look at the industrial sector, but also services, social and health (communication mediation, textiles, radiotherapy...).

As the Minister of Education stated, "special attention has been paid to the requirements of companies with complex cycles, when it comes to establishing them as High-Level Technicians in the Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological and Related Products, carried out at the request of companies, which is a professional profile that has just been established in Navarre.

In addition, he highlighted a very important line of work for the establishment of the Vocational Education System in Navarre in the 2024 academic year, such as revising the 150 degrees established in Navarre to adapt the time sequence and insert modules, improving the professional profile and increasing the employability of students. This has meant an important commitment to strengthen languages in vocational education by including English in all secondary cycles.

In terms of improving the employability of VET students, new modules are included that include mandatory content to learn about occupational risk prevention, self-employment, internal entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, as well as indirect training modules in digitalization and sustainability. The promotion of active learning methodologies is encouraged, and these are strengthened by incorporating an intermodular project in three stages: basic, intermediate and advanced, with a teaching load, to be able to work on projects with the other modules of the educational cycle.

Information days

This is the first time that an activity of this nature has been carried out.

Registration deadlines

The registration periods for the Intermediate and High Level Cycles will be from April 29 to May 10. Registration for the Basic Level cycles will be between May 13 and 17. Registration for modular, virtual and specialization courses will take place at the beginning of September.
