In the next two months, Vitoria-Gasteiz would be the main center of free-to-play video games. To the traditional content of the first two editions, important innovations should be added this year, such as blockchain technology, play-to-earn business model and NFTs and digital art. All these are issues closely related to free-to-play, as they are essential in the evolution of this model of video games.
The 5 selected teams would do all their work and training here from July 20 to September 18, and they would have the facilities of the sports city of Bakh Baskonia for lunch and recreation. They would all be in apartments in Aristic Gardens.
These were the protagonists of this third edition of the F2P Campus:
All of them had two months of hard work ahead of them before presenting their progress at the final campus Demo Day in September.
For this, they had the support of the technical team of the F2P Campus, led by the director Raul Herrero, and also the wise advice of the experts who went to Vitoria-Gasteiz. All of these experts also gave open lectures so that anyone interested in video games could learn from some of the best specialists in the world. The Games Academy also held specialized workshops for young people and those who are thinking of reorienting their professional career, such as the one held with great success in Amurrio at the end of June.
